The Magkaisa Fund-Raising Project of Villa Nati ES
By: Jhon F. delMundo, Head Teacher I
We
have done it doubled!“Magkaisa” was used to describe the involvement of our school’s stakeholders namely the School Governing Council, Teachers’ League, General PTA, Sangguniang Barangay, SangguniangKabatan, 4Ps and the one private well-to-do family. These organizations/individuals, deemed significant to realize the targets of our Annual Implementation Plan, were asked to join us through a partnership in generating funds for the school.
In every canvassing, all members of each identified organization shouldbe present in supporting and raising funds for their chosen candidates. It would help if two teacher-coordinators will be assigned to look after the activities of the project. The period covered should also be considered and the timely conduct of the activity. Such activity is better done nearing harvest season and in shorter period in the case of barangays away from the town proper.
The number of organization involved in the fund-raising activity also helped increase the amount earned. With the participation of more associations, the total amount earned doubled.
The participation of EPS/Monitoring supervisor and the Division SBM Coordinator also played a significant role. By advocating School Based Management to parents and everyone present during the final canvassing, the school gets more solid supports.
All stakeholders for one goal, one goal for all the pupils!
